IrrigationCheckups is an irrigation inspection and reporting platform for landscaping and irrigation professionals. It was originally built as an in-house tool for the founder's own business. He found himself spending too much time at night and on weekends writing up the report to send to commercial property owners after performing monthly checkups (or wet-checks). After leaving the industry for a few years, the founder decided to re-build the tool as a commercially available application for other professionals. Launched in 2023, the platform is now used across the country by companies big and small. IrrigationCheckups is owned and operated by Property System Inspections LLC in Round Rock, Texas.

Most irrigation contractors already do thorough work. What holds them back is what happens after the work: a paper form rides back to the office, and someone spends the evening turning handwriting into a quote. That step costs hours, loses detail, and quietly drops repair revenue that was already found and written down.

So this was built around that specific gap rather than around a feature list. A technician records the system as they walk it — assets, zones, callouts and photographs. The office receives it complete, sees which assets were actually checked, adjusts the quote, and sends the customer a branded report rather than a photocopied checklist.

It runs on the phone or tablet a crew already carries. There is no dedicated hardware, and no requirement to sign anything in the driveway — the office reviews before the customer sees anything, which is how most companies actually work.
